DSGE Modelling for Beginners Workshop

Centre for Economic Policy and Development Research (CEPDeR) in collaboration with Macroeconomics Analytics Resources (MARes) presents a 3-Day hybrid Workshop on ‘Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) Modelling for Beginners’. The workshop is in line with CEPDeR’s mandate of capacity building with a view to enhancing the capacity of researchers for evidence-based policy research orientation.
About the Workshop
The main objective of this workshop is to offer a beginners’ course on DSGE modelling in carrying out empirical analysis on economic, financial and business cycle fluctuations, which are crucial to understanding a dynamic world.
This workshop presents a platform for policymakers to have an intricate understanding of the business cycle in the economy and how it affects various sectors of the economy. It also promises to help policymakers to understand the interconnectedness of various sectors and how they are affected by policies implemented in the economy.
